Review of The Black Sparrow in Howqua

My stay at the Black Sparrow was very pleasant, even during the holiday season. the staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the location is fantastic, with shops and cafes just next door, as well as a nearby tennis court. Plus, having Jimbo's Quality Seafood a stone's throw away for quick bites made everything super convenient.

everything was lovely, amicable staff, awesome views of the mountains and the lake. the location by beautiful nature was marvellous and gorgeous.

The hotel with large and warm rooms, in a great area, close to all attractions. Amiable, welcoming staff towards all guests. Separate bedroom. Wonderful views over the mountain. Excellent and absolutely perfect location, at a medium distance from North Entrance Beach. An enjoyable stay even on holidays.

I booked a room with breathtaking views stretching over the landscape and towards the mountains. the staff were friendly and offered great service. the location of the hotel is ideal, situated near a tennis court, a dam, gorgeous views, shops.

The Black Sparrow in Howqua offers an incredible location, very close to scenic hiking trails and a picturesque hill overlooking a branch of Lake Eildon. We also enjoyed being within walking distance of Picnic Point Reserve. the spacious and warm bedroom made our stay even more comfortable. Plus, we were treated to lovely views of the mountains!

We had a wonderful stay at this hidden gem nestled away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the location was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings while still being close to Mount Buller for some amazing hiking adventures. the room was comfortable and clean, with a spacious bathroom and a luxurious spa bath. the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. We also loved the stunning views from the deck and the well-maintained facilities.

The difficulty we faced with parking on the steep driveway. It would have been helpful to have some additional traction for the tires in that area.

The location of this hotel during Christmas was perfect for a quiet getaway. The view of the mountain and valley was breathtaking. The onsite manager was really friendly and helpful, which made the stay enjoyable. Wi-Fi was excellent, great for catching up on Christmas Netflix shows.

The chalet could definitely be improved. The lighting in the living room and kitchen could be brighter.

The lighting in the kitchen and lounge could have been brighter, though this wasn't a major issue as there was a reading lamp available. the tap water had a slight color, and we weren't sure if it was safe to use for making tea or coffee.

Spacious chalet with peaceful surroundings, marvellous views over Howqua inlet, relaxing deck, modern amenities.
